Terrific fun story

Terrific story for the little ones. I purchased this for my 2 year old grandson and he loved it right from the box. The plush Pout-Pout fish is nicely done - soft and cuddly and good size. The book has beautiful colorful drawings to supplement the unfolding funny story. The surprise ending was much appreciated by all. I can see that I will be purchasing other books in the Pout-Pout series.

I was a pout pout person when I saw how badly this was made.

The book is great, but the Pout Pout Fish stuffed animal was really low quality. Not only was the fish rough, overstuffed, and the quality you'd expect from one of those crane game, but he also arrived with one eye looking a little up and to the side, and the other eye looking as far down as possible. I called amazon and set up a replacement, but that one arrived looking just as bad. Finally, I asked them just to refund the purchase.
For those who really want to find a great Pout Pout stuffed animal: I went onto eBay and purchased a Kohl's Pout Pout 16" fish for about $15. It looks great! It is also much better quality, super soft, and very squishable- as well as about 11" longer! If your kiddo is a Pout Pout fan, the Kohl's fish is definitely better deal. The price range for the Kohl's fish is all over the place on eBay, but at least you can see what you're getting and you know the quality is going to be great. (I'm not sure where else you can get it, as I believe it was discontinued.)

Adorable Pout-Pout!

I bought this for my two year old son, who looves the Pout-Pout Fish stories. He looves the Pout-Pout stuffed animal. I must say, this little guy is super cute and looks just like the fish in the pictures. Great quality plush and the hard-cover book is my son's new fav Pout-Pout story. (Packaging was cute, too)
